Nancy Furlotti

Jungian analyst Nancy Swift Furlotti has a private practice in the Los Angeles and Santa Barbara area. She is a member of the faculty of the C. G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, where she served as President of the Board of Directors, among many other positions. A therapist engaged in her wider professional community, she holds memberships in the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, the C. G. Jung Institute of Colorado, and JPA. She was a founding member and President of the Philemon Foundation, which prepared for publication C. G. Jung's Red Book. Additionally, Ms. Furlotti served as Vice President of the Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism, the group responsible for publishing The Book of Symbols.

She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, after which she continued her education at the Research and Training Center for Depth Psychology, an establishment dedicated to advancing research inspired by the work of C. G. Jung and Marie-Louise von Franz. Further, she received a diploma in Analytical Psychology from the C. G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles and currently studies as a PhD Candidate in Psychology at Saybrook University.

Complementing her degrees, Nancy Furlotti holds Marriage and Family Therapist Licenses from both California and Colorado and holds the C. G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles Jungian Analyst Certification.

In addition to her professional leadership and academic studies, Nancy Furlotti travels the world to participate in educational events. In August of 2012, she delivered a lecture in St. Petersburg, Russia, on the subject of Maya Time and Reality and also hosted a webinar on this topic in November of the same year. An interview on the same topic was posted on the Huffington Post. She plans a weekend workshop on the Red Book at the Center for Jungian Studies of South Florida in February of 2013.
